The Claim Clerk provides essential administrative and claims support to a remote team of Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation adjusters. This role is responsible for helping ensure claims are processed efficiently, documentation is maintained accurately, and critical administrative tasks are completed in a timely manner.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, supporting a team, managing details, and learning the claims industry. The successful candidate will assist with claim assignments, state forms, medical bill follow-up, document management, and general office support while serving as a valuable resource to the claims team.

Responsibilities What You'll Do- Provide administrative and clerical support to Workers' Compensation claims professionals
- Assist with claim assignments and claim setup activities
- Process and monitor state-required forms and documentation
- Follow up on medical bills, invoices, and claim-related records
- Match, distribute, and organize incoming claim mail and correspondence
- Scan, upload, index, and maintain claim documentation within claim systems
- Summarize correspondence and medical records within claim files as directed
- Maintain accurate claim records and documentation
- Assist with report preparation and data tracking activities
Provide support for claim workflows and document management processes - Return provider calls and assist with claim-related inquiries as needed
- Serve as backup support for office administrative duties when necessary
- Ensure compliance with Corporate Claim Standards and client service expectations

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior administrative, clerical, office support, customer service, or data entry experience
- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including:
