We are seeking a highly motivated, passionate Transportation Engineer to join our engineering team. This permanent position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a wide range of transportation infrastructure projects, including highways, roads, bridges, tunnels, rail, airports, ports, and mass transit.
Responsibilities- Design highways, roads, bridges, tunnels, rail, airports, ports, and other transportation infrastructure projects.
- Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD and Micro Station to create detailed engineering plans and designs.
- Conduct traffic studies and analyses to evaluate traffic flow and safety, developing solutions for improvement.
- Prepare technical cost, safety, and sustainability reports and proposals.
- Communicate project blueprints and progress to stakeholders through presentations and reports.
- Collaborate with managers, engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
- Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in transportation engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Micro Station.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a proven ability to develop creative solutions to complex engineering problems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Experience with highway and roadway design and site development.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed for project work.
