Project Manager (Agile Delivery) Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate small to medium-sized business and technology projects. This individual will be responsible for driving project execution, managing stakeholder expectations, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline requirements.

• Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, timelines, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Define project scope, objectives, and business requirements in partnership with stakeholders and project teams.
• Lead project execution by coordinating team activities, facilitating meetings, and driving alignment across business and technical teams.
• Monitor project progress across multiple Agile teams, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones and business value.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests while providing regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with PMO and other organizational departments to ensure adherence to project governance, standards, and documentation requirements.
• Support operational readiness activities and coordinate with third-party vendors when necessary.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and best-practice recommendations to project teams and project management peers.
• Utilize project portfolio management (PPM) and Agile tools to track project health, team productivity, and delivery metrics.

• Proven experience managing business and technology projects from initiation through completion.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum principles and practices.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and resources.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.

• PMP certification or equivalent project management certification.
• Experience using project management and Agile delivery tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure Dev Ops, or similar platforms.

This role is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing one or more small to medium-sized projects that support strategic business objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience leading cross-functional teams, driving project delivery, and ensuring successful outcomes in a dynamic Agile environment.

This is a Contract position based out of Okemos, MI.

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.

This is a hybrid position in Okemos, MI.
