Project Manager – Environmental Due Diligence and Remediation (EDR) – Site Investigation Services (SIS)

Pinchin, a multidisciplinary engineering and consulting firm, is seeking a Project Manager to join our Site Investigation Services (SIS) team. The role reports to the Team Leader.
Site Investigation Services OverviewThe SIS team works within the EDR department to assess soil, groundwater, soil gas, and site impacts for clients. Our work enables clients to make informed, responsible decisions and supports safe land use. The Project Manager will lead projects, ensuring quality, integrity, and care.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
- Prepare and review technical work plans outlining project methodologies, objectives, and deliverables.
- Establish and maintain positive client relationships through effective communication and deliverables.
- Generate comprehensive and accurate reports detailing project progress, findings, and recommendations.
- Work directly with clients and stakeholders to understand and manage project goals, timelines, and milestones.
- Manage project profitability by ensuring appropriate budgeting, pricing, utilization of resources, and cost controls.
- Represent the company in public relations by presenting and communicating capabilities and strengths.
- Communicate and present potential new business or resource information, competitive situations, or technology/regulatory factors to leadership.
- Coordinate task management, client interaction, and data management.
- Maintain a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience with transactional due diligence in the Midwest, including Phase II ESAs, BEAs, Due Care Reports, Response Activity Plans, and No Further Action Plans.
- Strong working knowledge of Michigan environmental regulations including Parts 201, 213, 31, 111, 115, with a demonstrated track record of obtaining regulatory approvals for submitted plans and reports.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong writing and documentation skills.
- Ability to read technical specifications, drawings, and reports.
- Valid driver’s license with access to a reliable vehicle; travel will be compensated.
- Physical capability to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; vision requirements include close and distance vision and passing a company physical.
