HP Retail Sales Representative

Overview

Job Type: Regular Work.

Location:

Best Buy 416 - Okemos, MI 48864. Pay: $17.50 per hour. Schedule up to 15 hours per week, Saturday and Sunday preferred with flexible Friday options.

• Demonstrate HP products to customers and tailor demonstrations to their ideal needs.
• Build rapport with customers and maintain professional relationships with store management and employees.
• Train retail store associates on HP products and services.
• Maintain displays for cleanliness, functionality, and demo readiness.
• Report and provide competitive insights.
• Assist customers by escorting them to displays, assessing needs, and suggesting products.
• Advise customers by providing information on products and services.
• Help customers make selections by building customer confidence.
• Accurately document and report sales.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Maintain workstation/kiosk clean, well‑organized, functional, and presentable at all times.
• Submit all paperwork completely and accurately.

• Problem‑solving, tech‑savvy enthusiast with an outgoing personality eager to learn.
• Comfortable engaging with customers and demonstrating products.
• Ability to engage in a selling process that overcomes objections and connects with customer needs.
• Retail experience or customer service experience in electronics, tech, or wireless (a plus).
• Training or product demonstration experience (a plus).
• Six months prior sales, retail, telecom or marketing experience (or one year job experience required).
• Demonstrated knowledge of products and services.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
• Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, team environment.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to maintain customer confidentiality.
