Technician, General Facilities Maintenance

Position Summary

General Facilities Maintenance Technician for Walmart stores. Responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities, equipment, and fixtures through routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs.

• Maintain and repair facilities, equipment, and assets using skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, and food equipment.
• Use the work order management system to receive and document reactive repair Work Orders.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.

• 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., move up and down ladders, and work at heights.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Work in various temperatures.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR.
• Vocational or technical certification and 1 year experience, or 2 years total work experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or a related trade.

• Competitive base hourly wage of $19.00–$35.00 per hour, with potential additional premiums.
