Junior Varsity Football Coach

Okemos High School is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our athletic department as a Junior Varsity Football Coach for the upcoming fall season. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing student-athletes' skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive and competitive environment. This position requires a commitment to the growth and development of players both on and off the field, while upholding the values and standards of the school and athletic program.

Qualifications:

* Previous coaching experience at the high school level or higher, preferably in football.

* Strong knowledge of football fundamentals, strategies, and rules.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes.

* Ability to work collaboratively with coaching staff, players, and parents.

* Commitment to the academic and personal development of student-athletes.

* First Aid and CPR certification preferred; willingness to obtain if not currently certified.

* Must pass a background check and meet all district requirements for coaching positions.

* Flexibility to work evenings and weekends during the football season.

* A passion for the game of football and a desire to positively impact young athletes.
