Senior Accountant

LHH is seeking a Senior Accountant for opportunity with our client in the Oklahoma City, OK area! This position is fully onsite and will support corporate accounting and financial reporting functions.

• Execute month‑end close: journal entries,
  monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  , and supporting schedules.
• Oversee accounts payable
  , corporate credit card processing, and vendor compliance.
• Manage client deposits and A/R reporting
  ; partner with project teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Post and reconcile payroll journal entries
  ; align payroll results with the GL and statutory requirements.
• Assist with billing and ensure proper project assignment.
• Assist with state registrations
  , local/state tax filings
  , and annual 1099 processing.
• Identify and implement process and control improvements; maintain audit‑ready documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required).
• Minimum 2 years progressive accounting experience with solid GAAP knowledge.
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups/index‑match, sumifs; basic modeling); strong report building and reconciliation skills.
• Experience with ERP system(s).
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and deadline‑driven; effective communicator with cross‑functional teams.
• Nice to have: exposure to project accounting (WIP, allocations, project billing), payment processing, and vendor programs.
