Staff Accountant
Oklahoma City, OK
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
- Perform monthly balance sheet and bank account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed
- Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for internal and external audits
- Assist with financial statement preparation and variance analysis
- Review transactions for proper coding and compliance with company policies
- Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation efforts
- Assist with special projects and ad hoc reporting as requested
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and basic accounting principles
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Compensation is $60,000 to $65,000 depending on education and experience. Excellent healthcare and retirement.
