In the role of a Concession Audit Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial data, in order to capture the company’s financial health and performance. You will use your skills to identify trends, patterns, and insights that will help scale the business.
We expect the starting salary to be around $50,000; the actual salary will be determined based on years of relevant work experience.
What You’ll Do:- Prepares internal and external reports by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and from departments.
- Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports
- Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts.
- Prepares payments by accruing expenses; assigning account numbers; requesting disbursements; reconciling accounts.
- Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
- Assist in driving continuous process and procedural improvements.
- Investigate and report to the Supervisor/Manager any inconsistencies or improprieties.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- 1-3 years Accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or CMA certification preferred
- Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Ability to prioritize and meet critical deadlines
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and locations
- Ability to influence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Results driven, ability to make decisions and help solve problems
- Ability to work under minimal supervision with a goal‑oriented mindset.
