Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records across a growing, multi-entity organization. This position supports monthly close, reconciliations, and audit preparation while ensuring day-to-day accounting integrity.

This role is best suited for someone who takes pride in accuracy, values follow-through, and wants exposure to real organizational complexity—not just transactional accounting.

• Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger records
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Track and record revenue and expenses in accordance with GAAP

• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Prepare supporting schedules and documentation
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting support

• Maintain records for multiple U.S. and international entities
• Support intercompany transactions and documentation

• Prepare schedules and documentation for annual audits
• Assist with grant and donor reporting requirements
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation

• 3–6 years of professional accounting experience
• Working knowledge of GAAP
• Experience participating in month-end close
• Proficiency in accounting software (Quick Books, Sage Intacct, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and reliability

• Experience in nonprofit or grant-funded environments
• Exposure to multi-entity accounting
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
