A well-established and growing commercial real estate organization, is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join its accounting team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with property management and leadership while overseeing a wide range of accounting and financial reporting responsibilities across a diverse real estate portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Process daily deposits and apply cash receipts.
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and complete monthly account reconciliations.
- Manage accounts receivable activities, including tenant collections and payment adjustments.
- Process weekly payroll information and timesheet data.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and supporting schedules.
- Generate tenant utility billings and other recurring charges.
- Assist with annual reconciliations, budgeting, and year-end financial processes.
- Partner with property management teams to resolve accounting and operational issues.
- Support special projects and ongoing financial analysis as needed.
- 3+ years of bookkeeping, staff accounting, property accounting, or related accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
- Preferred experience in commercial real estate, property management, or a related industry.
- Proficiency with Yardi and Quick Books required.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including ability to work with formulas, reconciliations, and large data sets.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
$60,000-$70,000 base salary + bonus
