Revenue Reporting Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Revenue Reporting Accountant to join our team.

Under direct supervision, this role is responsible for analyzing revenue data and supporting the preparation of accrual and re-accrual entries, while ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

• Analyze monthly revenue data, including production volumes and pricing, to support accrual and re‑accrual processes.
• Prepare accruals, journal entries, and perform month‑end close activities.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and support account reconciliation processes.
• Meet all revenue reporting deadlines in a timely manner.
• Assist other members of the Revenue Reporting team, as needed.
• Perform ad‑hoc analysis and special projects as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree (BBA or BS) in Accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., XLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Tables).
• Foundational knowledge of revenue accounting, production, and general accounting principles.
• One (1+) year of accounting experience, preferably in oil and gas.
• Demonstrated interest in process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work assignments.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to learn new systems and concepts quickly.
