Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities

• Process weekly, bi-weekly, or semi-monthly payroll accurately and on time
• Review timecards and payroll data to ensure accuracy
• Maintain employee payroll records and update payroll information as needed
• Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and garnishments
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company payroll regulations
• Respond to employee payroll questions and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with payroll reporting, tax filings, and year-end payroll activities
• Collaborate with HR and Accounting to ensure accurate employee records

Qualifications

• Previous payroll processing experience required
• Knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and wage calculations
• Experience with payroll software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
