Accounting Analyst I​/II

• Perform month‑end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and reporting.
• Prepare and maintain financial schedules, reports, and analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support internal and external audits by providing clear documentation and explanations.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Participate in projects and continuous improvement initiatives (LevelII only).
• Serve as a resource for less experienced team members and contribute to more complex analyses and projects.

• Required:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with a strong accounting focus.
• Accounting AnalystI: 1+ year of experience in accounting or a relevant internship.
• Accounting AnalystII: 2+ years of accounting experience (energy‑industry experience preferred).
• Preferred: CPA or progress toward certification.

• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and financial skills.
• Ability to work with and interpret large data sets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required).
• Effective communication and collaboration across teams.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Continuous improvement mindset with an interest in automation and efficiency.
