Senior Revenue Accountant

The Senior Oil & Gas Revenue Accountant is responsible for accurate and timely accounting, analysis, and reporting of oil, gas, NGL, and other hydrocarbon revenues. This position performs complex revenue accounting activities, prepares month-end close analyses, ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, and serves as a key resource for revenue accounting operations. The role requires significant knowledge of oil and gas revenue processes, ownership interests, royalty obligations, severance taxes, and industry reporting requirements.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The position also supports process improvement initiatives, internal controls, audit requests, and system enhancements.

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience. Experience in Oil/Gas is required
• 5+ years related accounting experience
• Knowledge of GAAP. Demonstrated experience with accounting systems and
• controls, and financial reporting and analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word. Experience with accounting software
• Proven attention to detail. Ability to anticipate and solve problems. Ability to juggle multiple priorities and multi-task.
