Staff Accountant Opportunity | OKC based
I have a great opportunity for an early-career accountant who is looking for more than just a job — this is a chance to learn, grow, and build a strong accounting foundation while working directly with experienced financial leaders.
This growing outsourced accounting firm is adding a Staff Accountant to the team. You’ll work closely with the Controller and CFO and get hands‑on experience supporting multiple legal entities, month‑end close, reconciliations, journal entries, financial statements, AP/AR, and more.
What I really like about this opportunity is the growth potential. They are looking for someone who is eager to learn, wants to take on more responsibility, and is excited to grow with the company. There is a clear opportunity to take on more complex accounting responsibilities as you develop.
Responsibilities:- Assist with monthly financial statement preparation and the month‑end close process
- Prepare account and bank reconciliations while researching and resolving discrepancies
- Record journal entries, accruals and other general‑ledger activity
- Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash‑management processes as needed
- Maintain accurate supporting documentation and organized financial records
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 0–2 years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial statements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Someone who is curious, eager to learn, and wants to grow
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, multi‑entity environment
