Who We’re Looking For - Reporting to the Director, Accounting , MANSCAPED® isseeking a Manager, Cost Accounting to oversee all aspects of cost accounting and inventory valuation to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). This role will lead a team of cost accountants, partner with our Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and FP&A teams, and provide strategic insights to improve cost efficiency and profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the cost accounting team, ensuring high performance, professional growth, and a culture of accountability
• Establish and maintain cost accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports for management
• Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes related to cost of goods sold (COGS) and inventory
• Provide cost analysis to assist in pricing decisions and margin improvement strategies
• Partner with Operations and Procurement teams to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Collaborate with FP&A and Accounting teams to align cost data with financial statements
• Manage cost accounting aspects of external audits
• Drive enhancements in ERP system (Net Suite) and cost accounting processes for better accuracy and efficiency
• Implement best practices for cost tracking and analysis
• Provide cost analysis for new product introductions, capital projects, and purchasing decisions
• Maintain accurate cost data for scenario planning and contingency analysis

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting , Finance, or related field ( CPA or CMA preferre d)
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in cost accounting leadership
• Demonstrate ability to lead and develop a cost accounting team, including goal setting, coaching, and managing teams competing priorities
