As an Intern in Digital Assurance, you will engage in a dynamic environment where you will support teams and participate in projects, focusing on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices. You will perform basic tasks and conduct research while observing professional work environments, contributing to the team's success. Within our Assurance practice, you will be part of a team that provides independent and objective assessments, upholding transparency, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements, allowing clients to focus on driving their business forward.

As an Intern, you will adopt a learning mindset and take ownership of your development, appreciating diverse perspectives and actively listening to understand and express ideas clearly. You will gather information from various sources to analyze facts and discern patterns, committing to understanding how the business works and building commercial awareness. In this role, you will have the chance to work on a variety of assignments, each presenting unique challenges and scope, offering opportunities to learn and grow.

You are encouraged to ask questions, take initiative, and produce quality work that adds value for clients and contributes to the team's success.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting audit teams by participating in various stages of the audit process
  • Observing and learning from experienced auditors to understand auditing methodologies and practices
  • Assisting in the preparation and organization of audit documentation and reports
  • Engaging in basic research tasks to gather information relevant to audit projects
  • Applying auditing methodologies to evaluate financial data and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Participating in team meetings and discussions to gain insights into audit strategies and client interactions
  • Utilizing cloud engineering principles to support the development of audit tools and processes
  • Contributing to the assessment of internal controls and governance frameworks within client organizations
  • Developing a foundational understanding of compliance auditing and its role in financial reporting
  • Actively listening and accepting feedback to improve auditing skills and professional development
What You Must Have
  • Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study:
    Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Information Technology
  • At least a 3.0 overall GPA
  • Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
