Tax Accountant

We're partnering with a well-established Oklahoma City employer to identify a Senior Sales Tax Accountant to join their corporate Tax Department.

• Prepare and file monthly sales and use tax returns
• Assist with unclaimed property reporting and compliance
• Manage and support multi-state sales and use tax audits
• Communicate directly with state and local taxing authorities
• Prepare and assist with various business tax filings
• Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 1-3 years of sales and use tax compliance experience, preferably in a multi-state environment
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance and reporting requirements
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large data sets
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
