Position: Intake Coordinator / Scheduler

Position Overview

Are you organized, quick-thinking, and able to keep moving even when the day gets busy? Our home care office is seeking an Intake Coordinator / Scheduler who thrives in a fast-paced environment and approaches challenges with a solution-based mindset. This role supports intake and scheduling functions in a weekly pay and weekly billing operation. Success requires urgency, reliability, and the ability to problem-solve without becoming overwhelmed.

Schedule,

Work Location & On-Call
  • In-office position (not remote)
  • Monday-Friday schedule
  • Hours are 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
  • On-call rotation: one weekend per month, with additional on-call pay

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage intake and/or scheduling workflows for home care services
  • Coordinate patient information, referrals, and schedules efficiently and accurately
  • Prioritize tasks to support weekly payroll and billing cycles
  • Respond to changes with a solution-focused approach
  • Communicate effectively with clinicians, leadership, and office staff
  • Maintain consistent attendance and reliability

  • Prior experience in healthcare intake, scheduling, or office administration preferred
Important Attendance Expectation

Because this role directly supports patient care, scheduling, and payroll, reliable attendance is essential. During the first 60-day introductory period, consistent attendance is required. A call-in during this introductory period may result in termination. Our goal is for every new team member to succeed, and being present and dependable from day one is a critical part of success in this role.
