Role DescriptionWe're looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Insurance Verification & Authorization Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you'll ensure every patient's insurance benefits are accurately verified before their appointment so families have a clear understanding of their coverage and our clinical team can focus on delivering exceptional care.
You'll communicate with insurance companies, obtain prior authorizations when needed, maintain accurate documentation, and work closely with our administrative and clinical teams to keep our office running smoothly.

- Verify dental insurance eligibility, benefits, deductibles, co-pays, and coverage limitations before scheduled appointments.
- Accurately document insurance information within Eaglesoft and other office systems.
- Communicate with insurance carriers to resolve eligibility and benefit questions.
- Collaborate with the front office and clinical teams to ensure accurate treatment estimates and a seamless patient experience.
- Help educate families on their insurance benefits and financial responsibilities with professionalism and compassion.
- Maintain organized records while following HIPAA and office policies.
- Support our mission of creating a fun, efficient, and family-centered dental experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work on-site Monday through Friday in our Oklahoma City office.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient at using computers and learning new software.
- Professional, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Previous experience with dental or medical insurance verification.
- Experience in dental or medical billing, front office, or patient scheduling.
- Knowledge of dental and/or medical terminology.
- Experience using Patterson Eaglesoft practice management software.
- Bilingual (Spanish or another language) is a plus.
Pay: $16.00- $22.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and skills.
