General Description
The Testing & Assessment Assistant works to carry out the accurate delivery and filing of assessment testing, placement and proctored exams offered through Oklahoma City Community College. The Testing & Assessment Assistant is further responsible for ensuring the integrity and security of tests.
Current OCCC students are not eligible for this position due to the presence of academic exams in the Test Center.

High School Diploma or GED
Minimum (1) year of customer service experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Customer service knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer skills
- Ability to accurately enter the appropriate student tracking data into the system.
- Ability to adhere to all requirements necessary to maintain security for all testing materials.
- Ability to accurately file all testing materials as required.
- Ability to maintain information in a confidential and secure manner.
- Ability to multi-task while working under pressure of required accuracy and volume of people.
Physical Demands/Working Conditions
Light work:
The person in this position may occasionally exert up to 20 pounds of force to grasp, lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
This position requires the person to frequently communicate with and listen to students, faculty, staff, administration, and others to perform the essential functions of the position. Must be able to exchange accurate information in various situations.
VISUAL ACUITY :
This position requires the person to judge, observe and assess the accuracy, neatness, thoroughness of work assigned or to make general observations.
WORKING CONDITIONS :
This position performs the essential functions in an indoor, office setting.

Work Hours
Approximately 15-25 variable hours during normal Testing & Assessment hours.
The Test Center is open:
Monday through Friday: 8 am to 5:00 pm
