Principal Secretary
Position is responsible for providing administrative support to the Principal(s). Essential duties include preparing correspondence, routing incoming mail, handling maintenance requests, managing Worker's Compensation claims, timekeeping, calendar management, substitute teacher sign-in, key distribution, medication distribution, and various clerical tasks. Minimum qualifications require a high school diploma or GED, and one of the following: an associate's degree or higher, at least two years of college study, passing the OGET test, or passing the Education Testing Service Parapro Assessment Test or the Workkeys Assessment.
Knowledge of office practices, excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are also required. Physical requirements include sitting and standing for extended periods, manual dexterity, vision and hearing capabilities, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Duties are performed in an office environment with moderate noise levels.
