Associate Regulatory Compliance Specialist
The Associate Regulatory Compliance Specialist performs administrative permitting, reporting, reviewing of documents, and tracking of regulatory documents for governmental agencies. This position assists in ensuring full compliance with internal and external rules and regulations while providing support to other regulatory staff as required for the overall success of our operations.
Duties and Responsibilities- Prepares and enters in data online or in paper form for filing of drilling permits/renewals, sundry notices, and other miscellaneous regulatory documents with state and federal agencies.
- Tracks, gathers, and organizes information needed for regulatory filings/compliance to meet deadlines.
- Works closely with field personnel on state and federal compliance requirements.
- Updates databases and various tracking systems including DSO, Excel, and One Note.
- Reviews documents for accuracy and uploads/scans documents into Well Drive.
- Research, documents, and stays current regarding regulatory requirements.
- Provides support as needed to other regulatory staff.
- Provides regular updates to regulatory supervisors/manager.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and GIS
- Basic knowledge of oil and gas operations

- High school diploma or (GED).
- An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test.
- Bachelor's degree in Math, Business, or related Science from an accredited college or university.
- Knowledge related to Drilling, Completion, Production.
- Experience with oil and gas governmental regulations.
- Working experience with DSO, Well Drive, or other similar tracking programs.
- Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
- Occasional travel
