Summary/objective
The Office Manager leads implementation and maintenance of clear operational systems and a supportive school environment that allows the leadership team to focus on instruction and teachers to focus on students.

- Ensures school staff & students have materials & supplies needed
- Distributes newsletters and student grade & progress reports as needed
- Manage School Messenger and administer
- Act as point person for visitor management and campus tours
- Help plan staff appreciation events and professional development events, including the responsibility of ordering food
- Coordinating all logistics of off-site field trips
- Supports logistics of School Events, including Data Days, Performances, Parent Nights, & Graduation
- Maintain inventory of school uniforms & supplies and collecting money from students for sales
- Coordinates community service time for parents
- Ensure all school's copier machines, fax, & phones are always in working order
- Maintain systems for chrome book Serve as liaison to our IT manager for technical issues.
- Manage internal accounts payable processing in preparation for payments.
- Maintain great files and organization for AP transactions.
- Manage all student records files including file cabinets, organization, labeling, ensuring complete and compliant files for each enrolled student.
- Maintain a welcoming, friendly, and professional front-office environment.
- Manage School Safe ensure proper check out and check in procedures are followed.
- And other duties as needed or requested
- Extensive knowledge of office management procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google platform for education or related software.

Work environmentInside, front office with workstations for office and administrative team
Physical demands- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Required education and experience- High school diploma or equivalent required;
- At least three years of administrative and clerical experience required.
- Experience working in fast-paced primary educational setting.
- Associate degree in office administration or related field preferred.
- Must be highly organized.
- Ability to handle multiple task.
- Levelheaded during times of high activity in the office space.
