Minimum Qualifications
This position is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Fleet Specialist I/II/IIIAnnual Salary:
- Level I F47A - $40,465.00 + Full State Employee Benefits
- Level II F47B - $43,500.00 + Full State Employee Benefits
- Level III F47C - $47,850.00 + Full State Employee Benefits
Travel is EXTENSIVE. Must possess a valid driver's license and must maintain required car insurance. Days worked will be Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
Minimum Qualifications - Fleet Specialist, Level I- Education and experience requirements at this level consist of one year of experience in automobile, truck, light or heavy duty road equipment, combustion engines or chassis maintenance and repair;
- OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of education/training as an Automotive/Diesel Mechanic
- Education and experience requirements at this level consist of two years of experience in automobile, truck, light or heavy duty road equipment, combustion engines or chassis maintenance and repair;
- OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of education/training as an Automotive/Diesel Mechanic
- Education and experience requirements at this level consist of three years of experience in automobile, truck, light or heavy duty road equipment, combustion engines or chassis maintenance and repair;
- OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of education/training as an Automotive/Diesel Mechanic
- Performs highly skilled mechanical work to repair and maintain agency Fleet Vehicles, specialty trucks and heavy equipment.
- Overhauls and repairs gasoline and diesel engines, transmissions and vehicle powertrain components.
- Troubleshoots vehicle and equipment mechanical, suspension and electrical issues, installs and repairs a large variety of vehicle exterior and interior parts required to safely operate a vehicle.
- Preference may be given to applicants who are ASE certified and/or possess a CDL
