Business Analyst

Compensation: $50 - $65/hour, depending on experience

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Business Analyst to join their team!

This is a strong opportunity for a detail-oriented Business Analyst to support a major modernization initiative. You’ll help shape process improvements, translate business needs into clear requirements, and support testing efforts that move critical systems forward. This role offers long-term contract stability and the chance to make a meaningful impact on a high-visibility transformation project.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Document current and future state business processes.
• Gather requirements and create user stories.
• Write acceptance criteria and test cases.
• Support functional testing and UAT coordination.
• Partner with business and technical teams.
• Create workflow diagrams and process maps.
• Track defects and verify issue resolution.
• Support training and documentation efforts.

Required Qualifications &

Experience:

• 4+ years of business analysis or process documentation experience.
• Experience creating process diagrams and workflow documentation.
• Proven experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Experience writing test cases and test scripts.
• Hands-on functional testing experience.
• Familiarity with Dev Ops or similar tools.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Azure Dev Ops work items.
• Background in large-scale modernization projects.
• Experience supporting cloud-based application initiatives.
• Exposure to document management workflows.
• Knowledge of Power BI or reporting tools.

Other Information:

• Long-term contract opportunity, expected to run several years.
• Work schedule is typically 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
