Role Description

The Contract Administration Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Oklahoma City, OK. This position is responsible for administering housing-related contracts, including drafting, reviewing, and monitoring agreements to ensure compliance with agency policies, program guidelines, and applicable regulations. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining accurate contract records, tracking key dates and deliverables, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and supporting procurement and contract renewal processes.

The specialist will review documentation for completeness, resolve contract discrepancies, and prepare reports and summaries for management. This role also involves responding to inquiries from vendors and stakeholders, supporting audits or monitoring activities, and contributing to continuous improvement of contract administration procedures.

Qualifications
  • Strong contract administration and document management skills, including experience reviewing, drafting, and maintaining agreements and related records.
  • Proficiency with office software and data systems used for tracking contracts, preparing reports, and managing deadlines.
  • Knowledge of general business, finance, or public sector procurement practices, with attention to compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with vendors, partners, and cross-functional teams in a professional manner.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, including prioritizing tasks and meeting multiple deadlines with accuracy.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify contract issues, interpret guidelines, and recommend practical solutions.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and commitment to equitable, non-discriminatory service in support of OHFA's mission.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in business, public administration, finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience in housing, real estate, government programs, or nonprofit contract administration is beneficial.
