Civil Roadway Construction Manager / Inspector
Olsson provides construction management, administration, and observation services for both public and private projects to assure that work is performed in conformance with project documents. Our services include daily observation/inspection, project documentation, submittal review, design support, shop drawing review, payment application review, payroll review, and oversight for materials testing. We provide technically qualified personnel for our clients’ specific project requirements.
As a Construction Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the success of diverse construction projects that include roadways, utility infrastructure, and water/sewer distribution systems. Your responsibilities will include interpreting project specifications and plans across various disciplines, inspecting and coordinating the inspection of construction work, coordinating schedules, verifying that projects are completed per the project documents, and overseeing projects of various complexity.
You will work collaboratively with experienced construction managers and engineers, driving projects to successful completion and ensuring efficient execution of tasks while contributing to the overall excellence of each project.
This position includes:
- Use of a company truck for transportation to and from job sites.
- Applicable PPE (personal protective equipment) provided.
- Company issued laptop.

- Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or other applicable field.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in construction observation or construction inspection.
- Knowledge of ODOT or OTA standards and previous involvement in Oklahoma Transportation projects is preferred.
- The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving history.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
- OSHA 10 preferred, but not required.
