Role Description

This full-time, on-site Project Manager role is based in Oklahoma City, OK. The Project Manager will oversee construction projects from planning through completion, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordination of subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams. Daily responsibilities include reviewing project plans and specifications, managing timelines, tracking progress, and addressing issues that may impact cost, quality, or schedule. The role involves regular site visits, conducting inspections, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and maintaining documentation and reports.

The Project Manager will also communicate with clients, provide updates, manage expectations, and support collaborative problem‑solving to deliver projects that meet Van Hoose Construction’s standards.

Qualifications
  • Ground Up Multi‑Family project management skills, including Project Management and Inspection, to lead construction activities and ensure quality and compliance.
  • Expeditor and Expediting skills to coordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractor schedules for timely delivery and execution.
  • Experience managing commercial construction projects, preferably in sectors such as corporate, retail, medical, or industrial.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem‑solving abilities, with attention to detail and risk management awareness.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with clients, field teams, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with construction management software, scheduling tools, and basic office productivity applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices; OSHA training or similar certification is a plus.
  • Ability to work on‑site in Oklahoma City, OK, and visit project locations as needed.
