The Boldt Company is seeking a Construction Estimator to join our team. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in commercial construction, industrial construction, healthcare construction, manufacturing projects, cost estimating, preconstruction services, quantity takeoffs, bid management, subcontractor procurement, and budget development.

As an Estimator, you'll play a critical role in delivering accurate project budgets, conceptual estimates, GMP proposals, and competitive bids for complex construction projects across multiple markets. You'll collaborate with teams to develop innovative solutions and drive successful project outcomes from concept through construction.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $78,000 - $100,000 annually. This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering or other related degree required.
  • An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Two to five years of estimating experience required.

A Day in the Life of an Estimator

  • Develop detailed construction estimates, project budgets, and cost models.
  • Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze labor, equipment, and material costs.
  • Support preconstruction planning, value engineering, and conceptual estimating efforts.
  • Manage bid solicitation, subcontractor procurement, and bid leveling activities.
  • Assist with GMP development, hard bid proposals, and negotiated project pursuits.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving strategies.
  • Utilize industry tools such as Win Est, On-Screen Takeoff (OST), Excel, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Revit, and BIM platforms.
