Safety Coordinator

Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Duration: 6 Months (Early/Mid September Start)

Type: 1099 Contractor

Pay Rate: $56/hr

Overtime: Yes

Per Diem: Locals Only

Completion Bonus: $150/month

Pay Frequency: Weekly

Schedule: Monday-Friday/Saturday as Needed | First Shift | 50-60 Hours Per Week

Additional Schedule Details: Anticipated start during the week of September 7 or September 14. Interviews are being scheduled immediately.

Join a contractor supporting a data center development project in Oklahoma City, OK. This role provides hands‑on safety oversight for demolition, retention pond construction, utility installation, and trenching activities

• OSHA 500 and/or OSHA 510 Certification
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification
• Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience
• Experience supporting civil construction projects
• Experience with excavation, trenching, and utility installation activities

• Data Center Construction Experience
• Civil Site Development Experience
• Utility Installation Experience
• Excavation & Trenching Safety Experience
• Demolition Project Experience
• CHST, ASP, CSP, or Other BCSP Credential

• Provide daily field safety oversight for civil construction activities
• Maintain a highly visible presence throughout active work areas
• Conduct routine site inspections, audits, observations, and hazard assessments
• Monitor excavation, trenching, utility installation, and demolition operations
• Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), permits, and pre-task plans
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific safety requirements
• Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate timely corrective actions
• Provide field coaching and reinforce safe work practices with craft personnel
• Coordinate safety activities with project management, supervision, and subcontractors
• Participate in incident investigations and corrective action implementation
• Maintain required safety documentation, inspection records, and compliance reports
• Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the project
