Drywall - Construction Project Manager

Work Model:
Hybrid - onsite and remote

Responsibilities

+ Manage all phases of commercial metal stud framing and drywall projects from pre-construction through closeout

+ Coordinate with estimators, superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and clients

+ Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation

+ Monitor field progress and proactively address delays or issues

+ Review and approve submittals, RFIs, change orders, and progress billings

+ Lead weekly project meetings with clients and internal teams

+ Ensure compliance with plans, specs, safety requirements, and company standards

+ Assist with manpower planning, logistics, and procurement

+ Maintain clear and consistent communication with field and office teams

+ Build and maintain strong relationships with GCs, developers, and subcontractors

Requirements

+ Minimum 5+ years of experience managing commercial framing and drywall projects

+ Proven ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously (interior build-outs, TI, large-scale commercial, etc.)

+ Strong knowledge of metal stud framing, drywall systems, and acoustical ceilings

+ Proficient with project management tools and scheduling software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam)

+ Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills

+ OSHA 30 certification preferred

+ Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

+ Must be a self-starter who can operate independently with minimal oversight
