WEEKEND MEMBER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE – Saturday & Sunday, Part Time, Hourly.

Reports to: Managing Partner / Assistant General Manager.

Looking for a member service representative who is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our club members and staff at Crunch Fitness
- Undefeated Tribe. Undefeated Tribe is an official franchise of Crunch Fitness based in Austin, TX and is expanding the Crunch Fitness brand across Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Missouri. The franchise has been recognized as Franchise of the Year in 2021 and 2024 and is inviting new team members to help our community experience fitness, wellness, relaxation, and recovery.

Position Overview

The Member Services Representative creates a warm, kind, and hospitable environment for team members and members alike, is passionate about fitness and excited about serving others, and helps deliver our purpose “to enrich the lives of others through the power of well‑being.” This role is optimistic, persuasive, and communicative, comfortable with multiple tasks, and prefers tidy, structured processes.

Schedule
  • Saturday & Sunday (operation hours 5 am‑10 pm)
  • Morning, Mid‑Day and Afternoon shifts available
New Club Opening Responsibilities
  • Distribute marketing materials within a 5‑to‑8 mile radius of the club to build excitement and awareness of the new Crunch gym opening.
  • Use personal transportation to drive to businesses, distribute marketing materials, have conversations with prospective members and owners, and develop community partnerships.
  • Develop partner relationships with local businesses for cross‑promotions, on‑site events, and brand awareness.
  • Meet individual goals for lead generation, social media, picture capture, marketing distribution, and number of businesses visited each day worked.
  • Participate in daily pre‑opening activity planning and events.
  • Identify potential leads and sign up new members in the pre‑opening membership office and through guerrilla marketing tactics.
  • Perform duties outside in all weather conditions, including sign holding, serving at a tent or trailer table, and other supportive tasks.
  • Meet expectations set by the Team Leader regarding daily grassroots outreach efforts.
  • Dress in the Crunch uniform policy; professional Crush uniform with name tag on the right chest at all times.
  • Carry out any additional duties assigned by the management team.
MSR Ongoing Responsibilities
  • Greet all members & guests with a smile and enthusiasm, using the Crunch SLA process for member engagement.
  • Assist with membership, retail, and tanning product sales.
  • Promote membership privileges including tanning, group fitness, small group training and childcare.
  • Meet new member enrollment expectations, including guest conversion, Peaks %, ACH %, and Crunch One Kickoff standards.
  • Check in all members and guests following company procedures and resolve any check‑in alerts.
  • Answer phones courteously, helpfully, and professionally.
  • Communicate special events to members and guests.
  • Facilitate member requests or forward them to a manager.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous disposition.
  • Be an expert in all club facility services, programs, and schedule/hours of operation.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized.
  • Navigate all front‑desk stations, including check‑in, Relax & Recover, guest services, and membership sales.
  • Clean beyond shift duties to support a clean, crisp, grand‑opening ready facility if asked.
  • Perform opening and closing checklists and duties.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a service‑oriented position and/or sales.
  • Effective communication skills with strong reading and writing proficiency.
  • Strong customer service orientation and professional attitude.
  • CPR/AED certification required (can be obtained within 30 days of hire).
  • Active driver's license and insurance.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Strong social media presence on multiple platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Linked In.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Physical effort includes prolonged standing and walking.
