About the Role

As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for guests, playing a crucial role in creating a welcoming and positive experience from the moment they arrive. Your primary objective is to manage guest seating efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. You will coordinate with the service team to ensure smooth operations and timely seating, contributing to overall customer satisfaction.

This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills to handle reservations, waitlists, and guest inquiries effectively. Ultimately, your efforts will help foster a warm atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and enhances the establishment’s reputation.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Preferred previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and manage a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working as a host or in a similar front-of-house position.
  • Bilingual abilities to assist a diverse guest population.
  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
Responsibilities
  • Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage reservations and waitlists using the establishment’s booking system to optimize seating arrangements.
  • Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate guest seating and service flow.
  • Provide guests with accurate wait times and updates, addressing any concerns or special requests professionally.
  • Maintain a clean and organized host station and dining area to support efficient operations.
