Position Overview

Full‑Time Prevention Specialist (NH‑0101‑02) – Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), 72 ABW, Tinker AFB, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Salary: $40,736.00–$97,087.00 per year (including locality).

• Complete administrative functions and budget execution.
• Implement primary prevention education and training for the total base population.
• Collaborate with the Installation Integrated Resilience Office (IRO) to coordinate prevention activities to reduce sexual assault, harassment, family violence, workplace violence, suicide, and alcohol abuse/misuse.

• U.S. citizen.
• Obtain and maintain a security clearance if applicable.
• Up to 25% travel.
• Obtain, maintain and renew required credentialing as specified by the DoD Board.
• Complete a criminal background check.
• May be required to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or shifts.

• Comprehensive knowledge of laws, regulations, policies and behavioral, social science, or public health principles related to violence prevention.
• Knowledge of a wide range of delivery systems for violence prevention.
• Knowledge of curriculum and training design, instruction, and training effect measurement.
• Proficiency with office automation software (word processing, spreadsheets, databases, graphs).
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
