Project Manager, Planning​/Landscape Architecture

Overview

Landscape Architect Project Manager - Oklahoma City, OK — Halff is seeking a Landscape Architect with licensure to join our Oklahoma City office as a Project Manager. The ideal candidate would have at least 5 years of experience on projects including parks, recreation and trail planning and design; urban park, plaza, streetscape and transportation enhancements; land development; and support for large-scale planning projects.

This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment to help clients plan, design and implement projects, with potential for professional growth and ownership in the firm.

• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of landscape architects, planners, engineers, and others to provide management on a wide variety of public and private landscape architecture and planning projects.
• Work with design teams and consultants through all design stages from concept through construction.
• Foster and promote a positive, team-oriented environment and office culture.
• Lead teams to complete projects while meeting deadlines and budget requirements.
• Production of CD sets including hardscape, planting, construction details, specifications, and bidding packages.
• Construction methodologies and implementation.
• Manage multiple projects of various scale and complexity simultaneously.
• Anticipate the needs of clients and projects.
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing.

• Bachelor s Degree or Master s Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university
• Oklahoma registration as a Professional Landscape Architect
• At least 5 years of experience as a Professional Landscape Architect
• Familiarity with preparing proposal/scope of work documents and reviewing invoices/submitting
• Ability to travel periodically, primarily within the state, to support project needs
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Land F/X, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
• Well organized, detail oriented and highly motivated
• Experience in master planning of parks, trails, and recreation is a plus
• Excellent design skills
