Project Architect

SNIPEBRIDGE is a strategic talent solutions company specializing in connecting exceptional talent to great career opportunities. We work as an exclusive partner to leading AEC and technology organizations that are advancing the built environment through innovation, technical rigor, and transformative work.

Our client operates within the fast-moving data center and digital infrastructure sector, where engineering, construction, technology, energy, and operations come together to support always-on environments. Its multidisciplinary teams plan, design, deliver, and operate complex facilities with a strong focus on reliability, safety, scalability, and efficient use of power and cooling. The work calls for close coordination across technical disciplines and offers the opportunity to contribute to infrastructure that supports the continued growth of cloud computing, AI, and connected services.

The Project Architect will lead the architectural delivery of data center and mission-critical projects from programming through construction. This role brings together code, planning, enclosure, life safety, technical coordination, and project execution in facilities where every square foot must support safety, maintainability, security, and long-term expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead architectural work from programming and concept design through documentation, permitting, and construction administration
  • Develop site, building, support-space, circulation, code, accessibility, life-safety, and enclosure solutions
  • Coordinate closely with civil, structural, MEP, security, technology, equipment, and construction teams
  • Manage Revit models, drawing packages, specifications, schedules, and consultant deliverables
  • Facilitate client meetings, design reviews, code discussions, and interdisciplinary coordination
  • Review submittals, respond to RFIs, evaluate field conditions, and protect design intent during construction
  • Manage assigned scope, fee, schedule, quality, and project communication
  • Mentor design staff and contribute to technical standards and quality-control practices

Requirements

  • Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited program
  • 7+ years of architectural experience, including substantial technical project delivery
  • Professional architecture license preferred; required where serving in a responsible charge role
  • Advanced Revit skills and experience coordinating complex multidisciplinary BIM models
  • Knowledge of building codes, accessibility, life safety, building envelopes, and construction administration
  • Data center, industrial, advanced manufacturing, laboratory, or other mission-critical experience preferred
  • Strong client communication, project management, and technical problem-solving skills

All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and must already possess long-term work authorization.
