The Tenure-track Assistant Professor in Pharmaceutical Sciences will contribute to the academic, research, and service mission of the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy. Responsibilities include conducting high-quality, independent research; securing research funding; teaching professional, graduate, and/or undergraduate courses; and mentoring students. Additional duties involve participating in departmental and university service activities. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Oklahoma City, OK.
Qualifications- Expertise in areas such as pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacology, toxicology, pharmaceutics, or related fields
- Demonstrated ability in conducting independent research and securing external funding
- Experience in teaching and/or developing scholarly educational materials
- Strong communication, mentoring, and teamwork skills to support students and collaborate with colleagues
- Ph.D., Pharm.
D., or equivalent doctoral degree in a relevant field - Prior experience in an academic or research environment is highly desirable
