Role Description

The Tenure-track Assistant Professor in Pharmaceutical Sciences will contribute to the academic, research, and service mission of the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy. Responsibilities include conducting high-quality, independent research; securing research funding; teaching professional, graduate, and/or undergraduate courses; and mentoring students. Additional duties involve participating in departmental and university service activities. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Oklahoma City, OK.

Qualifications
  • Expertise in areas such as pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacology, toxicology, pharmaceutics, or related fields
  • Demonstrated ability in conducting independent research and securing external funding
  • Experience in teaching and/or developing scholarly educational materials
  • Strong communication, mentoring, and teamwork skills to support students and collaborate with colleagues
  • Ph.D., Pharm.

    D., or equivalent doctoral degree in a relevant field
  • Prior experience in an academic or research environment is highly desirable
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and fostering an environment of academic excellence
