General Description An adjunct faculty member at Oklahoma City Community College has the primary responsibility of instruction. Secondary responsibilities include supporting the integrity of curricula, encouraging student success, and promoting the mission of the division to which the adjunct faculty member belongs as well as the College as a whole. This position will teach concurrent students on area high school campuses.

Qualifications & RequirementsMinimum of a Master’s degree. In-person teaching experience in secondary and/or higher education.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

- Ability to use electronic databases for scholarly research
- Ability to travel to area high schools to teach concurrent high school students
- Ability to access and autonomously implement technology relevant to the course, including Zoom and the learning management system (Moodle)

This position requires in-person teaching during a high school workday (7:30 am – 4:00 pm) for the duration of an academic semester. The class is a 3-credit hour class that may meet either two or three days per week on-site at a high school in the Oklahoma City area.
