At Taylor Robinson Music, we believe in learning to play from the heart and are looking for private music instructors who share this philosophy. We aim to make music lessons accessible and affordable, believing music education is essential to creating a better, happier world.

We are hiring private music instructors for Violin. We do not have a brick‑and‑mortar studio in Oklahoma City; lessons can take place at the student’s home, your own home or studio, or via webcam. While most students prefer in‑person lessons, we need local instructors willing to travel within the Oklahoma City area.

You will be paid on an independent contractor basis between $20‑$30 per hour, depending on travel time, experience/education, and student retention rate. You have freedom to set your own schedule, curriculum, and lesson plans. We handle advertising, marketing, SEO, and billing to allow you to focus on music.

Ideal candidates are great with kids, have strong communication with our office, and are organized and punctual. Formal music training is not mandatory, but a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience is required.
