Responsible for the development and production of training and instructional materials for new and revised courses, training aids and prototype training materials. Design, develop, validate, and evaluate training using current trends and theories in adult education and training and applying principles, theories, and research findings in human learning and cognitive psychology. Utilize a systematic approach to the design, development, and evaluation of training materials/courses.

Apply principles, methodologies, and models of instructional systems design and write, proofread and edit training content in all delivery media for objectivity, consistency, writing style, manner of presentation, and format.

Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree is required.

Minimum one year experience in designing, developing or providing educational or training services in formal education or training programs requiring knowledge of learning theory, and the principles, methods, practices and techniques of the instructional systems field; planning, coordinating and developing components of a training program; developing, reviewing or revising instructional materials for courses or occupations in accordance with specific learning objectives;

and evaluating all aspects of education or training programs for institutional or occupational training. Experience in comprehensive background in developing training materials and courseware with various forms of multi-media is strongly desired.

Experience using MSWord, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Articulate Storyline 3 or 360, Adobe Captivate, Creative Suite, and Camtasia.

Must demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to work independently or under general direction. Specialized knowledge of FAA systems, equipment, procedures, and operations is highly desired. Must be able to obtain Public Trust Security clearance.
