Assistant - Associate Professor, Assistant/Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs and Instruction, College of Nursing
The Assistant/Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs and Instruction serves as the principal liaison for faculty matters with the Dean, College of Nursing leadership (primarily the other Associate Deans), and the Office of the Senior Vice President and Provost. The Assistant/Associate Dean also acts as the Dean’s representative to the Campus Faculty Affairs Advisory Board.
Purpose and responsibilities of the role include oversight of faculty affairs issues such as faculty onboarding, professional development, and implementation of curriculum. The incumbent will coordinate and support these areas in alignment with institutional priorities.
Minimum Qualifications- Licensure
:
Must be eligible for or hold a current registered professional nurse (RN) license for the State of Oklahoma. - Education
:
Graduate degree in Nursing required; must be terminally prepared. - Experience
: 3 years of higher education teaching experience; 5 years of progressive administration experience in higher education; tenure eligible at the rank of Associate or Full professor.
- A record of scholarship and extramural funding strongly preferred.
