Most educators exhaust themselves battling the system. They draft lesson plans no one will review. They endure faculty meetings that produce no meaningful change. You've long since stopped accepting that as the real work. The real work is the student sitting in front of you.
At Alpha, academic instruction is handled by software. Adaptive applications guide each learner through content at an individualized pace. No lectures, no homework, no grading papers. This frees you to focus on work that genuinely transforms lives: facilitating life skill workshops where high schoolers develop public speaking, focus, and feedback literacy, then coaching them individually to sustain motivation and achieve their learning objectives.
Half your time is spent leading a group. The other half is spent one-on-one with a student, analyzing their Coachbot data to pinpoint exactly where progress has stalled and why.
Following each workshop, your students will complete a mastery-based assessment. Over 90% should rate your facilitation highly. 100% should be progressing in their apps. These aren't stretch goals; they define the standard. Holding students to rigorous expectations demonstrates your belief in their capacity. In the process, you'll become skilled at creating workshops teenagers actively want to attend, mastering advanced learning software, and forming enduring relationships with students and their families.
Our Brownsville campus is located adjacent to Space

If you've been waiting for a school that operates the way you believe schools should operate, this is it.
