The most meaningful thing you can tell a student who scored 99% is that they haven't yet passed. Not because perfection is the goal. Because believing in someone's capacity to improve is among the highest forms of respect. Traditional schools shield students from failure. Alpha equips them for success. Our conviction: confidence grows not by reducing expectations, but by guiding students to accomplish what they once considered beyond their ability.

This conviction informs everything we do.

This position is central to that purpose. You will develop the Guides working directly with students, shaping them into outstanding coaches instead of traditional instructors. You will facilitate life skills workshops that remain with students long after. You will analyze performance data to pinpoint where students or Guides need support and coach them toward excellence. You will also manage your own student cohort, exemplifying the standards you uphold for others.

The downstream impact is substantial. Each Guide you develop influences dozens of students. Every enhancement you make to campus culture multiplies across hundreds of young lives. Success is not measured by meeting attendance or report volume. It is measured by whether students grow more confident, disciplined, resilient, and capable due to the environment you cultivated.

This role is not for someone seeking to maintain the current education system. It is for someone who believes young people deserve better than compliance, attendance tracking, and mediocre expectations. If you find energy in coaching people through challenging growth, leveraging data for improved decisions, and maintaining high standards rooted in genuine belief in others' abilities, this environment will suit you well.

What

You Will Be Doing
  • Develop and coach Guides to execute Alpha's coaching approach with consistency, enthusiasm, and rigorous standards.
  • Facilitate dynamic life skills workshops addressing communication, focus, feedback, leadership, and resilience for students in grades K-8 using established playbooks.
  • Analyze student and Guide performance metrics to uncover coaching opportunities, eliminate obstacles, and produce measurable progress weekly.
  • Conduct motivational sessions that empower each student to embrace ambitious goals and reliably accomplish them.
  • Oversee your own student cohort while demonstrating the coaching quality and accountability you require from all Guides.
What You Won’t Be Doing
  • Delivering academic instruction. Core academics are learned independently by students through AI-powered platforms.
  • Developing lesson plans or designing curriculum. Your focus is outstanding coaching, not producing instructional content.
  • Controlling classrooms via lectures, worksheets, or behavior management systems. Students direct their own learning; you coach the habits that enable success.
  • Reducing standards to sidestep challenging discussions. Elevated expectations and authentic belief in each student's capability are inseparable.
  • Defining success by activity volume rather than outcomes. Impact outweighs effort alone.
