This role involves assisting with instruction, student supervision, and individualized support to promote academic and developmental growth.

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Support the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities.
* Provide individualized assistance to students based on their learning needs.
* Assist students with mobility, self-care, and daily routines.
* Foster an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere.
* Supervise students during transitions, mealtimes, and recess.
* Maintain classroom organization, ensuring materials and equipment are accessible.
* Reinforce positive behavior and provide guidance based on school policies.
* Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents as necessary.
* Prepare and set up learning materials for classroom instruction.## Qualifications* +

* Education:

** Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or a related field.  +

* Experience:

** Prior experience working with children, preferably in an educational or childcare setting.  +

* Skills:

** Patience, adaptability, strong communication, and a passion for supporting children with disabilities.

* Physical Requirements:

**  + Ability to lift a minimum of
** 40 lbs
** to assist students with mobility and classroom needs.  + Ability to sit, stand, walk, and actively engage with students throughout the day.
