Job Title: Substitute, Evening Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT)
Salary Structure: $22/hr, up to $25/hr for applicable Metro Tech program completion
Schedule: As needed, M-TH, Hours between 3pm-10pm

Job Description:
Metro Technology Centers is accepting applications fora substitute AMT instructorthat will be responsible for the education and supervision of the students in their charge utilizing curriculum which follows the Airman Certification Standards (ACS), occupation-based curriculum design, delivered in a flexible manner as individual student needs dictate to develop knowledge, skills, work ethics, and compatible attitudes for employment.
- Ability to instruct students
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Highly-skilled in computer-related communication, word-processing, and school-related technology preferred
- Present subject matter according to guidelines established by Oklahoma statute.
- Deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences in the classroom, laboratory/shop and/or work-based learning environment as established by State, National and/or District standards and requirements.
- Concurrently facilitate student learning at varying skill levels and multiple stages within the program
- Be a positive role model for students, support mission of school district.
- Manage classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social, and emotional development of students.
- Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
- Uphold and manage student behavior expectations consistent with district/program guidelines
- Maintain a professional relationships and behaviors with colleagues and students.
- Use appropriate and effective communication skills to present information accurately and clearly.
- Maintain certifications consistent with FAA and district guidelines
