Kratos Unmanned Aerial Systems is looking for integration and test engineers to help design, develop, integrate and test our next generation unmanned tactical aircraft and target platforms. Be part of a fast-paced team that rapidly and affordably designs, develops and demonstrates cutting edge advancements in unmanned aircraft and target drone systems.

The duties and responsibilities listed below apply to all levels of Integration and Test Engineers. Each level has additional duties and responsibilities.

• Manages effort and time within the budget and schedule provided for the task.
• Understands customer requirements and works with System Engineering to develop test documents.
• Develops integration and test procedures traceable to requirements.
• Prepares formal, controlled engineering documentation (e.g., test procedures, test plans).
• Supports design review material for technical interchange meetings with suppliers and internal/external customers.
• Ensures customer satisfaction in relation to projects.
• Supports system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
• Supports flight testing, data reduction, analysis, and reporting.
• Prepares test plans, cases, procedures, and reports.
• Follows safety precautions and performs hazard analysis.
• Maintains work area and equipment cleanliness and complies with established QMS procedures.
• Identifies, documents, tracks, mitigates/exploits and reports on program risks or opportunities.
• Supports transition from preliminary design to manufacturing.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Experience Levels

• Integration and Test Engineer I:
  Acts as the Integration and Test Engineer for simple projects as determined by Manager. Meets cost goals and schedule goals during program execution.

• Integration and Test Engineer II:
  Acts as the Lead Integration and Test Engineer for more complex projects. Acts as Test Director when necessary. Mentors Level I Engineers. Supports business development, quotes and proposals, and presents design review material to major customers. May lead small teams. Responsible for cost and schedule performance on program.

• Integration and Test Engineer III:
  Acts as the Lead Integration and Test Engineer for very complex projects. Acts as Test Director. Prepares and presents design review material to major customers. Mentors Level I-II engineers.
