• Apply knowledge of engineering to assist in the design of freeways, interchanges, roadways, streets, intersections, roundabouts, and other transportation‑related infrastructure.
• Perform engineering calculations from preliminary to final design.
• Work with the project team to develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
• Take a methodical approach to problem solving and completing project requirements, while working as part of a team or independently.
• Clearly communicate through drawings, documents, reports, and verbal exchange.
• Perform and coordinate plan reviews to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
• May conduct site investigations, as well as other responsibilities associated with this position.
• Assist project engineers and project managers with assignments as needed.

• Minimum of B.S. in Civil Engineering.
• EIT certification is required or will be obtained within 6 months.
• Strong problem solver.
• 2+ years of roadway design experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience utilizing Micro Station – a plus.
• Experience with Open Roads Designer – a plus.
